THE FOUNDER & CEO – ERIN SCHOLES
With over fifteen years in hotel and event management and eight years as the Director of Catering & Convention Services at a luxury property in downtown San Diego, Erin Scholes founded SD Meetings & Events in 2013.
Erin’s experience in hotel management and her position as a hotel executive makes her the ideal partner you want in your team as you plan your special event.
SDME THE COMPANY
SD Meetings and Events specializes in creating dynamic and authentic events. Erin’s passion and her team’s commitment to her client’s vision have allowed SDME to grow into an award-winning events management company.
SDME also prides itself in the purposeful development of young graduates coming into the hospitality industry. Partnered with San Diego State University, SDME provides various career opportunities to driven individuals.

As a team, we are an extension of your brand. From the moment we join forces, you will feel how invested we are in your success. We will be by your side throughout the entire event journey. You will be paired with a dedicated SDME team member who will assist you with everything from contract negotiation and registration to exhibit management, mobile apps, and full meeting logistics.
