With over fifteen years in hotel and event management and eight years as the Director of Catering & Convention Services at a luxury property in downtown San Diego, Erin Scholes founded SD Meetings & Events in 2013.

Erin’s experience in hotel management and her position as a hotel executive makes her the ideal partner you want in your team as you plan your special event.


SD Meetings and Events specializes in creating dynamic and authentic events. Erin’s passion and her team’s commitment to her client’s vision have allowed SDME to grow into an award-winning events management company.

SDME also prides itself in the purposeful development of young graduates coming into the hospitality industry. Partnered with San Diego State University, SDME provides various career opportunities to driven individuals.
